Reinforcement of Concrete Slab with Openings
Carbon Fiber
To reinforce a concrete slab with openings using carbon fiber to ensure structural integrity and meet load-bearing requirements. To minimize the impact on the existing structure and provide a lightweight, high-strength reinforcement solution.

Preparation:
Surface Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaned the concrete surface to remove dust, debris, and contaminants.
Surface Repair: Repaired any surface defects or damages before applying carbon fiber.
Application of Carbon Fiber:
Application: Applied carbon fiber sheets or strips to the prepared surfaces. This typically involves the following steps:
Epoxy Primer: Applied an epoxy primer to the cleaned surface to enhance bonding.
Epoxy Resin: Coated the area with an epoxy resin, then adhered the carbon fiber sheets or strips to the resin-coated surface.
Overlay: Covered the carbon fiber with additional epoxy resin to encapsulate and bond the reinforcement securely.
Curing: Allowed adequate curing time for the epoxy resin to fully set and bond the carbon fiber to the concrete.
