FRP jackets are a technical solution for the reinforcement, repair, and protection of underwater structures such as bridge pile foundations and piers. The system consists of a high-strength modified fiber composite jackets and underwater epoxy grout, forming a composite protective system comprising a protective layer, a structural layer, and a sealing layer. It meets standard requirements and has a durability design target of 50 years.


This technology involves wrapping damaged pile foundations with customized jackets and then injecting self-leveling epoxy grout to form a protective structure that can resist water erosion, chloride ion corrosion, and chemical media corrosion. The construction process does not require cofferdams or drainage equipment and is suitable for repairing various materials such as concrete piles, steel piles, and wooden piles. It also features resistance to salt and alkali, freeze-thaw cycles, and UV aging.
