Quality control measures in post installed rebar

1. before drilling, we should use the steel bar detector to determine the location of the reinforcement in the original structure, so as to avoid damage to the original structural steel bar when drilling.

2. the hole should be cleaned immediately after drilling, brush the hole wall ash powder with brush, and purge the ash powder in the borehole with compressed air, temporarily block the hole with cork or cardboard, and fall into the dustproof soil, and influence the bond strength of the hole wall and the structure glue.

3. anchorage parameters such as borehole diameter and drilling depth are determined according to construction drawings or related specifications.

4. the amount of glue should be mastered accurately. When the glue is overloaded with steel or screw, it will overflow and cause waste and pollution; too little glue is insufficient to fill the adhesive zone, and the reliability of anchorage is reduced, which is generally suitable for three minutes to fill the hole depth.

5. when the colloid is prepared, the measurement must be accurate. When the colloid is prepared, it should be placed in the hole immediately.

6. when treated steel bar or screw is implanted, it will enter slowly according to clockwise.

Quality acceptance of reinforcement by post installed rebar

1.When the planting bar is completely solidified, it needs to be sampled for pullout test.

2.Sampling rules for site inspection of bearing capacity of rebars:

1) important components should be sampled by 1% random sampling with no less than 5 samples.

2) general components and non structural components should be sampled according to 0.5%, and no less than 3 samples should be sampled.

3.The bearing capacity sampling and inspection of C and planting bar should be carried out on the same day when the glue reaches the curing time marked in the product instructions.

4. The evaluation of the test results of the bearing capacity of the rebars:

1) if a sample is qualified, the batch can be regarded as a qualified batch.

2) if the samples are not slipping, no cracks in the base material or other local damage appear during the holding period, and the load indication value of the loading device does not fall in 2 minutes or does not exceed 5% of the test load, it can be qualified as the quality.

3)  if only 5% of the samples from a inspection lot are unqualified, 3 specimens are allowed to be taken for destructive testing. If the inspection result is qualified, the inspection lot can still be regarded as a qualified batch.

4) if more than 5% of the samples extracted from a inspection lot are unqualified, the batch shall be assessed as unqualified batches, and no other additional tests shall be made.
