The Pre-stressed CFRP strip/plate/laminate reinforcement method is suitable for strengthening the reinforced concrete members subjected to bending, tension and large eccentricity when the section is small or the reinforcement is insufficient.

At present, the width of Pre-stressed CFRP strips is 500mm and 100mm, and the common thickness is 1.2mm, 1.4mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm.
The Pre-stressed CFRP strips reinforcement system is a kind of active reinforcement technology applied to bridge, long-span and other flexural members. Through the stretching of Prestressed CFRP, the bearing capacity of members is improved, meanwhile, the disturbance and deformation are reduced, and the cracks of closed components are reduced. It has the advantages of light weight, high strength and aging resistance of carbon fiber material, and improves the utilization ratio of carbon fiber tensile strength at the same time.
